CRMD Cyprus: The Civil Registry and Migration Department Explained
CRMD is the Civil Registry and Migration Department, the name most expats and lawyers still use for Cyprus's immigration authority. Since 2024 residence permits are handled by the Migration Department under the Deputy Ministry of Migration, while citizenship stayed with the Civil Registry.
