Cyprus Property Lawyers: What They Do, What They Cost and How to Vet One

The lawyer has to be registered with the Cyprus Bar Association and independent of your seller. Here is how to find one you can trust.

Practising advocates must hold professional indemnity insurance, so ask for the insurer's details in your engagement letter. If you need a second opinion, a new lawyer can take over your file; ask the first one for your complete file in writing.
