Why I'd Rent Before Buying in Paphos (and When I Wouldn't)

The most expensive mistake UK movers make in Paphos isn't overpaying. It's buying the wrong home in the wrong village after a fortnight's holiday. My advice is to rent for 6 to 12 months first. Here is why, what to rent, and the few cases where I'd buy straight away.

2. The distances matter more than the views

On a map, everything is close. In daily life, the school run, the supermarket and the airport decide how you feel about a place.

A year's rent is not cheap either. But it is the price of information, and it has a ceiling. A wrong purchase does not.

For rents, deposits and contracts, see our guide to long-term rentals in Paphos.
